SOFTWARE MANUAL
To start the program click on the desktop icon.
In front of you is a plain page with graph lines on it, to the left of the page is a toolbox.
At the top of the page you will see a toolbar with drop-down menus.
The icons toolbox to the left holds practically everything that you need to enhance your floor plan.
Starting in the top left-hand corner you have
Move Floor
Allows you to move the plan and position it anywhere on the page. If you right click on the drawing, you can drag and drop the plan where you like.
Text
When you click on the 'Text' box, a 'Text Settings' box will appear.
Type any text you like in the 'Text Box'. If you click on the
'Font Select' button, this opens up a new window where you can
alter font, style, size and colour.
To obtain room area or total floor area, click on the appropriate buttons
Cupboard
Clicking on the 'Cupboard' icon brings out a flag with a cupboard, which can be adjusted to shape and size.
Enlarge the plan slightly in the bottom right hand corner, left click on the icon three times, right click and hold on the pink button in the centre of the wall, drag the pointer and the wall bends. You will also find a selection of cupboard doors that drag and drop into position.
To get a more accurate result, if you right click your pointer in the place you wish to fit the cupboard, a menu pops up. Click on 'Add Cupboard' and the item sites itself at the pointer.
Work Surface
Clicking on the 'Work surface' icon brings out a rectangular box in the centre of the page, which can be adjusted to shape and size. Enlarge the plan slightly in the bottom right hand corner, left click on the rectangle three times, right click and hold on the pink button in the centre of the wall, drag the pointer and the wall bends.
To get a more accurate result, if you right click your pointer in the place you wish to fit the 'Work surface', a menu pops up. Click on 'Add Work surface' and the item sites itself at the pointer.
Windows
Click on the 'Windows' icon and a flag with a selection of different window styles appears.
Drag and drop the window you require and it will automatically fit to the wall you put it on. To alter the size of the window, right click and hold on the widow, drag the pointer and the window will adjust to the required size.
Doors
Click on the 'Doors' icon and a flag with a selection of different door types appears.
Drag and drop the door you require and it will automatically fit to the wall you put it on. To alter the size of the door click and hold the corner and drag to the size you want. To alter left or right opening, right click on the door, go to the bottom of the menu and click on 'Mirror Horizontal' or 'Mirror Vertical'
Furniture
Click on the 'Furniture' icon and a flag with a selection of different pieces appears.
Drag and drop the item you need into the location you require. To alter the size of the item, click and hold the corner and drag to size. To alter the angle, click, hold and drag the blue spot.
Skylight (Roof window)
Click on the icon and drag, drop and adjust as required
Sinks
Click on the 'Sinks' icon and a flag with a selection of different units appears.
Drag and drop the piece you need into the location you require. To alter the size of the piece, click and hold the corner and drag to size. To alter the angle, click, hold and drag the blue spot.
Toilets
Click on the 'Toilet' icon and a flag with a selection of different pieces appears.
Drag and drop the item you need into the location you require. To alter the size of the item, click and hold the corner and drag to size. To alter the angle, click, hold and drag the blue spot.
Showers
Click on the 'Showers' icon and a flag with a selection of different pieces appears.
Drag and drop the item you need into the location you require. To alter the size of the item, click and hold the corner and drag to size. To alter the angle, click, hold and drag the blue spot.
Baths
Click on the 'Bath' icon and a flag with a selection of different pieces appears.
Drag and drop the item you need into the location you require. To alter the size of the item, click and hold the corner and drag to size. To alter the angle, click, hold and drag the blue spot.
Appliance
Click on the icon and drag, drop and adjust as required.
Hobs
Click on the 'Hobs' icon and a flag with a selection of different pieces appears.
Drag and drop the item you need into the location you require. To alter the size of the item, click and hold the corner and drag to size. To alter the angle, click, hold and drag the blue spot.
Stairs
Click on the 'Stairs' icon and a flag with a selection of different pieces appears.
Drag and drop the item you need into the location you require. To alter the size of the item, click and hold the corner and drag to size. To alter the angle, click, hold and drag the blue spot.
Block Shapes
Click on the 'Block Shapes' icon and a flag with a selection of different pieces appears.
Drag and drop and adjust as required. To alter the colour of the block, left click on the 'Format' button on the toolbar at the top of the page. Left click on 'Background Colour'.
If you alter the colour of the circular block to white, you are left with a circle that can be altered in size.
Boiler
Click on the icon and drag, drop and adjust as required.
Car
Click on the icon and drag, drop and adjust as required.
Arrows
Clicking on the 'Arrows' icon brings up a dimension line. To position it, left click at the centre of the arrow and drag it to where you want it. To alter the length, left click on either arrow head, and drag accordingly. By left clicking twice on the arrow a settings box appears and you can alter the features of the arrow
Lines
Clicking on the 'Lines' icon brings up a line, or wall. To position it, left click at the centre of it and drag it to where you want it. To alter the length, left click on either end. Drag accordingly. By left clicking twice on the line a settings box appears and you can alter the features of the line.
Garden
Click on the 'Garden' icon and a flag with a selection of plants appears.
Drag and drop the item you need into the location you require. To alter the size of the item, click and hold the corner and drag to size. To alter the angle, click, hold and drag the blue spot.. To alter the colour, left click on the 'Format' button on the toolbar at the top of the page. Left click on 'Background Colour'
Compass
Click on the 'Compass' icon and a flag with a selection appears.
Drag and drop the item you need into the location you require. To alter the size of the item, click and hold the corner and drag to size. To alter the angle, click, hold and drag the blue spot.. To alter the colour, left click on the 'Format' button on the toolbar at the top of the page. Left click on 'Background Colour'
Add Room
Click on the 'Add Room' icon and a menu appears that has a default reading of 3m x 3m which can be changed. Click 'OK' and a room appears on the page. Drag and drop the room where you need it on the page.
To alter the size of the item, left click and hold on any wall and drag to size.
To alter the shape of the room, double click on the wall and drag into place.
Left click and hold on the pink button in the centre of the wall, drag the pointer and the wall bends.

To alter the default colour from white, click on 'Floor Plan Settings'
Add Floor
To add an additional floor, click on the 'Add Floor' button and an identical layout covers the first drawing.
It can only be used to produce an identical layout as the base drawing. If you require a different layout, draw the next floor separately
Add Garden
Click on the 'Add Garden' icon and a menu appears that has a default reading of 5m x 5m which can be changed. Click 'OK' and a garden appears on the page. Drag and drop the shape where you need it on the page.

Add Decking
Right click the pointer where you want the decking to sit and a pop up menu appears.
Click 'Add Decking' and a drag and drop box appears on the page.
Drag and drop the shape where you need it to sit.
To rotate the shape, left click and hold on the pink button and drag it accordingly.
To alter the size of the item, left click and hold on any wall and drag to size.
To alter the shape of the room, double click on the wall and drag into place.

Toolbar
At the top left of the page is the toolbar, which has;
File
Left click on 'File' and the drop down menu shows;
New Plan Takes you to a new blank page
Open Plan Takes you to an existing saved file
Close Plan Takes you to a Save and close pop up box
Save Plan Asks you where you want to save your plan
Save Plan Asks if you want to save your floor plan with a different file name.
Export Asks which format you want to save your floor plan in, jpeg, bmp etc.
Close Reminds you to save any changes to your layout
Print Takes you to your printer
Print Preview Lets you see how your completed floorplan will look on the page
Exit Closes the programme
Edit
Left click on 'Edit' and the drop down menu shows;
Undo Reverses last operation
Redo re-applies last operation
Horizontal Mirror Icons Turns image left to right
Vertical Mirror Icons Turns image top to bottom
Insert Sq ft / Sq mtr Inserts dimensions
Insert Copyright Inserts your own protective copyright
Insert Text Lets you insert text into your floorplan
Import Images Lets you insert images into your floorplan
Import Sketch Lets you insert a sketch into your floorplan
Rotate Icons Left Turns the item slightly to the left
Rotate Icons Right Turns the item slightly to the right
Rotate Icons 90 deg. Left Turns the item 90 deg to the left
Rotate Icons 90 deg. Right Turns the item 90 deg to the right
Horizontal Mirror Turns image left to right
Vertical Mirror Turns image top to bottom
Rotate Plan to 0 Deg Turns the whole floorplan to zero
Rotate Plan to 90 Deg Turns the whole floorplan to 90 deg
Rotate Plan to 180 Deg Turns the whole floorplan to 180 deg
Rotate Plan to 270 Deg Turns the whole floorplan to 270 deg
View
Left click on 'View' and the drop down menu shows;
Allows you to zoom in or out on the page
Format
Left click on 'Format' and the drop down menu shows;
Wall Colour Click on the wall, line or arrow that you want to change, then 'Format', 'Wall Colour', the colour you want and click 'OK'
Background Colour Click on the area that you want to change, then 'Format', 'Background Colour', the colour you want and click 'OK'
Text Colour Highlight on the text that you want to change, then 'Format', 'Text Colour', the colour you want and click 'OK'
Landscape Puts the graph page on landscape, or horizontal, mode
Portrait Puts the graph page on Portrait, or vertical, mode
Metric Shows wall and arrow dimensions in meters and centimetres. Area dimensions are always shown in metric and imperial
Imperial Shows wall and arrow dimensions in feet and inches. Area dimensions are always shown in metric and imperial
Text on/off Click to turn text off, click again to turn text on
Sizes on/off Click to turn sizes off, click again to turn sizes on
Drawing size Changes the size of the graph page. This can also be done by moving the 'Plan Size' slider on the bottom tool bar
Floor Plan Settings Allows you to customise, and save, the default settings to your preference

Left click on 'Help' and the drop down menu shows;
